Friends,

July is one of the most exciting months for us here at Health Plus. Traditionally, we start off by celebrating the Fourth with gusto, hosting safe and festive events around the five boroughs and Nassau County.

We also pay tribute to Dominican culture, sponsoring the Gran Parada Dominicana in the Bronx, as well as salute the variety of cultures -- at dozens of festivals and other outdoor events -- that make up New York. In addition, we support a number of sports leagues, and bring groups of children to Shea Stadium where they get a chance to watch a game and even meet a player or two. And, once again, we're sponsoring Brooklyn Borough Marty Markowitz's famous free concert series at Coney Island's Seaside Park.

As those of you who are familiar with Health Plus know, providing free and affordable healthcare to children and adults, while the primary focus of our mission as a company, is not our only goal. We believe strongly in enhancing the quality of life in our communities and for our members and neighbors, as well. That's why we sponsor the many free health fairs, concerts, sports tournaments, and arts and academic events that you’ll see listed on this website. It is also why we work hard to bring a variety of health and wellness workshops to the many communities we serve.
