Queens, NY - May 18, 2006 — The Rockaway Development and Revitalization Corporation (RDRC) held its 20th Annual Tribute Dinner on Wednesday night over an elegant dinner at Russo’s On the Bay in Howard Beach, Queens. 15 prominent community figures – including Executive Director of Health Plus, Tom Early – were honored for their contributions to the revitalization of Rockaway’s economic bases and neighborhoods while assisting in securing improved quality of life for all residents of the Rockaway community.

The Executive Director of Health Plus was presented with the coveted “Rockaway Means Business” Award. “To be presented with an award like this is truly an honor,” says Mr. Early. “This award represents a team effort from my staff at Health Plus, who work hard every day to provide exceptional service to our members and to all the communities we serve throughout the five boroughs and Nassau County. We’re pleased to be part of this ongoing project that promises growth and stability to a vital area of our city, and look forward to furthering the development of the Rockaway community.”
