HP and Lutheran Medical Center Team Up for National Health Center Week

Brooklyn, NY - August 8, 2006 — Throughout the week, managed care organization Health Plus and partner, Lutheran Medical Center, will team up at various Lutheran Family Health Centers in Brooklyn to provide free screenings to the public to mark “National Health Center Week.” Appointments are not necessary; physicians of the Lutheran Medical Center will travel to local facilities throughout the week, offering free medical exams such as dental, blood pressure, and cholesterol screenings, as well as prenatal and diabetic care. Information regarding Health Plus will also be distributed at the centers, explaining the free and affordable healthcare services available through the Brooklyn-based company.
