Bronx, NY - November 7, 2006 — Last week, at a well attended dinner and awards ceremony in the Bronx, managed care organization Health Plus was honored for outstanding community service by the South Bronx Board of Trade. Bronx Regional Marketing Manager, George Sosa, accepted the award on behalf of his company.

This was the 21st annual awards dinner held by the South Bronx Board of Trade. Each year, they hold this event to honor individuals and organizations whose accomplishments benefit the residents and small business of the South Bronx. Health Plus, who works with every community throughout the five boroughs of New York City and Nassau County, has always had a strong presence in the Bronx.

“I am very proud of the work Health Plus does, providing access to free and affordable health insurance to all who qualify,” said George Sosa, Regional Manager for Health Plus, “and I am very proud of the South Bronx. This community has come a long way and continues to flourish. And while I am very excited to receive this award on behalf of Health Plus, I am even more excited to see the wonderful changes that this region has experienced and will experience in the future. At health Plus, we intend to be a part of that growth.”
