Over a period of a week and continuing right up to Easter Sunday, Health Plus holiday events took place in all five boroughs of New York City, as well as Nassau County, culminating in a party at the Staten Island Children’s Museum. Children in attendance were offered a variety of activities, such as egg decorating, egg hunts, egg races, and a chance to pose for a picture with the Easter Bunny. Health Plus staff was also available to educate guests about Health Plus products, offering free and affordable health insurance for children and adults.
“We’re always very happy to participate in any community’s celebration of the Easter holiday,” said Tom Early, Executive Director of Health Plus, “but to be a part of so many people’s holiday experience in so many different neighborhoods was a moving experience. We strive to treat out members like our family and when our members chose to celebrate with us, it makes us feel as if we must be doing something right.”
