Charles Ottomanelli



Since 2006 Charles Ottomanelli has been the Chief Information Officer of Health Plus. Charles has over 12 years of experience in healthcare and 20 years of experience in information technology. He has a solid history of successfully providing the business and technology leadership necessary to define, develop, and execute IT solutions that enhance the business processes of healthcare organizations. Charles is a much needed addition to the Health Plus Executive Management Team. 

Beginning his career in the late 1980s as a Programmer/Analyst, Charles progressively worked his way up through the IT and Health Care industries.  Charles has held the positions of Operations Manager, Senior Programmer/Analyst, Team Leader, Project Manager, Director and Vice President within the Retail, Manufacturing, Banking and Managed Care industries.

Charles reports directly to the Executive Director and CEO, Tom Early. As Chief Information Officer, he is responsible for the overall planning, operation, and maintenance of the Health Plus corporate information structure.  He manages a staff of 55, located at two sites, and works diligently with senior management to strategically align the IT department with corporate goals and strategies.

Charles Ottomanelli received his Bachelor of Science from Manhattan College in 1988, majoring in Computer Information Systems.  He then went on to receive his MBA from St. John’s University in 1995.

Charles resides in Suffolk County Long Island with his wife and two children. In his spare time Charles enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his children in Baseball, Softball and Basketball.
