Health Plus Holds Ninth Annual North Pole Stroll
HMO Plays Role of Santa To 700 Children In Sunset Park

Brooklyn, NY - December 8, 2003 — The blizzard of 2003 didn't stop over 700 Brooklyn children from celebrating the holidays this past weekend with Health Plus and the department of Parks and Recreation at the Sunset Park Recreation Center.
 
"Nine years ago the company held its first annual North Pole Stroll and donated a Christmas tree to the Sunset Park Recreation Center to be planted there," says Executive Director for Health Plus, Tom Early. "Happily, the tree has grown large and strong over years, much like Health Plus and its relationship with the community."
 
Every year Health Plus gives toys to the children who attend the North Pole Stroll. This year was no exception, as the company gave out many different types of toys, including mini-motorcycles and dolls. Children in attendance also had their picture taken with Santa Claus for free.
 
"The holidays are a very magical time, especially for children, and Health Plus is pleased to wish our communities the compliments of the season," says Early. "This North Pole Stroll is conducted to promote goodwill in our community."
